florannaGranny is in hospital.
I hurts. It really hurts. She and her husband, my grandpa have always been very close and dear to me. She got a small stroke in her brain two years ago and she has slowly gotten worse. She is 85 right now. We all knew that as long as she can go to toilet on her own (with the help of walker) grandpa can take care of her (he will be 86 this autumn), but when she can't, she'll have to go to hospital. Now she cannot do that anymore.
Two years. I can still remember where I was when that stroke happened. I was on my first hiking trip (where I was alone) and I had sent a text message before to my mum because no one answered at my grandparent at home when I called them. Next time I called, mum says granny is in hospital. I wrote a diary on that trip and I remember that I wrote there: "If something happens to granny, I'll be the last one to know". Two years. Back then I thought that she would be dead now. It still hurts.
She won't come out from that hospital. Only to attend her own funeral. God it hurts.
I'll write those drabbles when I can.
