Pick a letter between A-F, one, two or three numbers between 1-20, and give me a prompt--mood, song lyric, whatever--and I will drabble you something based on the combination. Liminal spaces are the spaces on the threshold, the states where the boundaries dissolve, the transition moments. Autumn is a liminal space between summer and winter, for instance.

Liminal means "between". It means to be neither and both, or in a state of flux. Literally, it means on a threshold. For example, adolescence is a liminal state between childhood and adulthood, being on a road is to be in a liminal place between where you started and where you're going, and twilight is a liminal time between day and night. Hybrid creatures and transforming creatures are held to be representations of the liminal. New Years and the beginnings of seasons are liminal, birth is liminal, midnight for the western world is liminal between two days, shorelines and estuaries are liminal. Cross roads metaphorical and literal are liminal.
