There is a one thing which I have been wanting to say for a long time. It's nothing big, nothing world-changing reveal or even important, but I have been wanting to say it for a while.

I don't believe in destiny.

The idea of everyone having destiny which is unchangeable or somehow rules your whole world and spirit is very anxiety-indusing to me. There are so many people who suffer endlessly, who never get the chance or the strength to fight back, whose deaths are never recorded and whose lives are just like flies', fast gone and no-one notices them. The thought that this was their destiny is sickening to me.

SOme people have mentioned that it was my destiny to survive my suicide attempt, but even this fills me only with fear and restlessness. I believe that world is filled with coincidences, and if you are lucky, these coincidences give you a chance to make your own life or the world better. That it's you who, in the end, makes it possible.

Or all of this is in my mind because I read Naruto in a very receptive age. ^^

I totally don't believe in destiny either! Great concept on paper, but in truth, our lives are what we make them and what we perceive of them!

May you see yours as awesome from here on out...and if not, well, nothing wrong with that. :)

I think some things happen for whatever reason they happen for, but to say that literally every single little thing happens because destiny says so sounds, to me, like a cop out made up by people who are afraid to admit they've mucked up or lack the courage to take chances.

The thought of destiny freaks me out a little. Destiny more or less means that what I do has no real impact on my life.

So I don't believe in destiny.
