Either in fandom or RL, have you ever encountered any not-uncommon kinks that just really bother you? How do you deal with it?

On the flip side, do you have any kinks you feel are unusual? (you don't have to say which ones) And how do you deal with that?

For some reason I have really big troubles reading consensual BDSM. I really don't know why, but I give them my usual treatment as I won't read them.

Well, I have big rape kinks, but that's not very uncommon... I usually read a lot of fic with them, but I need the fic also have the recovery part and the builduo for the one who got raped to become a whole person again and the healing process.

I always just thought I was really weird or something, the way consensual BDSM just kind of squicked me out (although I have read one or two fics where I liked it, usually because it was bolstered by great writing). But I LOVE NON-CON!
