Author's notes: I actually really really like Neal, even if people might find it hard to believe after this. Written while feeling depressed and with a massive headache. I would say takes part somewhere in WC season 2 and SPN season 5. I have no idea if those timelines even match.

I absolutely love the idea of a Supernatural crossover with White Collar. In an alternate universe, I could picture Neal SORT OF as a hunter, though specializing in finding, accessing and neutralizing/destroying cursed objects (which, unfortunately, are often pretty pieces of art and/or historic objects).

Man, though: cursed objects are terrifying. I like the palpable confusion of the FBI in this fic. Of course they'd look into hereditary conditions and toxicology screens first, because that's logical.
